Hello guys.  I would like to restrict an accout in windows xp home so that it can access the internet...that is it.  i know there is probably a really easy way to do this, but i havent been able to find it yet.  although i know a little bit about computers, i dont know a lot so a complete, specific explaniation would be awesome.  Thanks for your help

You want to download the "Shared Computer Toolkit" from Microsoft... It'll
let you turn any account you want into a locked-down kiosk interface if you
wish. All settings managed through a GUI...

In just searching MS for the download link, it looks like the tool has been
rebranded "Windows SteadyState."

Either way, go to Microsoft.com and query for those tools, and read the
doc's prior to setting it up...

Hey Casey-most, if not all group policy settings for locking down an XP Pro
machine should really just correspond to registry tweaks for XP Home.
You could check here and see if playing with these might help
