Retiring Agila and its resourcesSo the plan is to retire Agila. As far as I can tell everyone is
agreed on doing it, so I'm planning to do the items listed on http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/RetiringPodlings next weekend. This is to let people know that the mailing lists will be shut down (archives don't go away) as a part of that and the various resources (jira/code etc) will be read-only. Retiring podlings is pretty novel, so please point out if anything is missing or if anything there is a bad idea. Hen |

Re: Retiring Agila and its resourcesEverything looks fine. Maybe an explanation for the retirement somewhere
could be useful (in our case the project has been "replaced" by Apache Ode)? Let me know if I can help for some of these items. Re: Retiring Agila and its resourcesSorry for the slowness, said weekend was filled up. I've closed things
down in JIRA and made the request that the mailing lists be closed down. It'd be great if you could take care of updating the Agila website. Re: Retiring Agila and its resourcesI suspect I'll learn lessons about closing things. ie) leave the lists
til last. So I've deleted the JIRA issue. To close: Notify - Done. JIRA - Done. Lists - Do last. Wiki - Should we delete this? Ask for it to be read only? Bake it into the site and delete? Site - Update with inactive info. SVN - read only. [Second to last before Lists] Incubator site - I'll do this tonight. Re: Retiring Agila and its resourcesWiki: I think it can be deleted, there's no need for it anymore.
Site: I'll update it. Thanks! Matthieu On 12/3/06, Henri Yandell <flamefew@...> wrote: > > I suspect I'll learn lessons about closing things. ie) leave the lists > til last. There are just the four, so I would probably do it manually; and for extra points I'd probably edit each page and save the 'source' so to speak. Hen |

Re: Retiring Agila and its resourcesSVN is retired (rw to the incubator pmc, should still be anonymous r).
Wiki is read-only. The rest of the RetiringPodlings page has been done, so now I've requested that these mailing lists be shutdown: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-1056 Hen On 11/19/06, Henri Yandell <flamefew@...> wrote: > So the plan is to retire Agila.
