Roller 4.0.1 Restricted access

Hi Friends,

I have installed and configured roller 4.0.1 on tomcat 5.5 ,

I am able to login and post the comments on blogs,  but i am not getting
mail alerts.

And i want to restrict everyone to don't see my blogs and comments,  it they
give user name and password then only they can view or edit the blogs.

Can anyone help me out how to configure it.
