Hi.
I'm working on revamping a couple of skins for use with Plone GetPaid.
All was going swimmingly (multiple demo instances up & running + shininess) when I had a
brilliant idea "why not use DDNS for this?" ...
So I went out and and bought a nice new (2ND hand) router (Billion Bipac 7300 G) & have been in network hell ever since (1 week) .
local Zope instance(s) are up & visible on the LAN (2 machines) & client side DynDns updating works fine. But,alas - no way to the Zope
instance. OS = Ubuntu Jaunty.
I'm usually pretty good at this stuff & have tried things like ip masq, mangling , proxies, odd (and even really, really strange) network topologies,DMZ etc and absolutely zip so far.
I know this is slightly off topic and so do apologize in advance, but if anyone has experience of Zope Router / TCP Port forwarding problems similar to this, I'd be most grateful for any advice/suggestions.
Meantime I'll keep combing Google for arcane knowledge.
Regards to all.
Rob M.
