Running Tiki with SQLite???I'm an SQL virgin, so I thought I would ask folks here about this.
Would it be possible to run Tiki with SQLite instead of MySQL, for the purpose of doing fast, automated tests? SQLite is a very fast SQL DB whick keeps all tables in memory. It's of course not a good idea to use it for a real Tiki installation, but for the purpose of testing, where the DB mostly consists of empty tables, it might work. Just a thught. ---- Alain Désilets, MASc Agent de recherches/Research Officer Institut de technologie de l'information du CNRC / NRC Institute for Information Technology alain.desilets@... Re: Running Tiki with SQLite???Yes,
install sql script still has to be converted (the converter corrected) but then it should be possible just like PostgreSQL. When I find some time for it again I will do SQLite script as well. Always planned to do that. :) Desilets, Alain wrote: > I'm an SQL virgin, so I thought I would ask folks here about this. > > ---- > Alain Désilets, MASc > Agent de recherches/Research Officer > Institut de technologie de l'information du CNRC / > NRC Institute for Information Technology > > alain.desilets@... > Tél/Tel (613) 990-2813 > Facsimile/télécopieur: (613) 952-0215 > > Conseil national de recherches Canada, M50, 1200 chemin Montréal, > Ottawa (Ontario) K1A 0R6 > National Research Council Canada, M50, 1200 Montreal Rd., Ottawa, ON > K1A 0R6 > > Gouvernement du Canada | Government of Canada > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Come build with us! Re: Running Tiki with SQLite???Great! This should make automated testing much faster. Please report back to this list when it's done.
