Re: S100Jeff,
In my experience it does work. You just need to apply sparingly and rinse THOROUGHLY! You need to rinse until it's squeeky. Then I use a chamois to dry and put on a good carnuba wax. It works well for average dirt (pollen, road dust, etc.), and yes, it's spray on, wait a few seconds (usually while spraying other parts), and rinse off. Doesn't work all that well on "ground in bugs". There's an insect remover for that though. ;-) S100 will get chrome clean enough, but it doesn't polish it. For that Simichrome works well. -- Mike B. -- '04 FLSTCI (H-D Softail Heritage Classic with EFI for the non-Harley folks) Learning from your mistakes is good. Re: S100I found that if you let it soak in for a few minutes (don't let it dry
though) and then use a soft bristle car wash brush (think really big hair brush with long bristles) it gets all of the bugs out, even the ones that are baked into the mirrors and headlights. -Paul On Jul 21, 2009, at 9:45 PM, Mike B. wrote: > Jeff wrote: >> Speaking of S100, does that stuff work well? Petition to eliminate Virginia's radar detector banThe National Motorists Association has set up an online petition at its website www.stoptheban.org to accept signatures from those who oppose Virginia's ban against radar detectors. We have seen increased interest recently in Virginia to change the law.
Spread the word to all you know; it will take a grassroots effort to gather enough signatures to grab the attention of state politicians. With a significant number of signatures on the petition, we will make sure it is delivered to key politicians with a commensurate amount of publicity. Remember that the November elections are not that far away. Now is the time to sign up to fight the ban of radar detectors in Virginia. _______________________________________________ dc-cycles mailing list dc-cycles@... http://dc-cycles.org/mailman/cgi-bin/listinfo/dc-cycles |
