Hi,
we have successfully implemented SAFS with RFT. What we want to know is being into service industry can we charge our client for providing SAFS with RFT? is there any GNU licence for SAFS?
Could any one give me a list which specifies list of companies who have implemented SAFS at client side?
Please share any document/ details relating to this issue with me.
Thanks,
Raven.

All of SAFS uses the standard old GNU license.  A copy of which should be located in your C:\SAFS directory.

While you must not take my word as any official legal advice, we do know that:

1) your customer must have a licensed version of RFT for any of the SAFS\RFT code to work.  The code will not work if a valid install of RFT is not present.

2) The assets like test tables and App Maps you develop to be consumed by SAFS are *NOT* derivative works and are *NOT* covered under any license.  These are your own original works and you handle and distribute these however you wish.

3) SAFS depends on STAF which is covered by its own separate license.  You should check the license for the version of STAF you are using.  Usually this is in the STAF root directory which is typically C:\STAF
