Is there any plan to make SIP toolbox compatible with the new release of SCILAB?

Hi Christophe,

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry that SIP has not been actively
maintained for nearly 3 years. I can't give you very specific date by
which SIP will work with SCILAB-5.1.
I hope I can find time to update it very soon. I can't promise
anything at the moment.

Regards,
Cheng

I'm trying to make time for it.
SIP is still in extremely high demand.

Scilab 5.1 under linux.

Actually,

I realized that my sip tree was pointing to some old Scilab 4.x
sources, so that's why it compiled normally.

The strange thing is that it used Scilab 4.x to compile, while it
loaded _and_ ran just fine in Scilab 5.x

We will need some time to port SIP to Scilab 5 and that is a process
that also involves merging-in some changes from SIVP. Although this
process has started, it is not so simple and will take some days to
finish.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
