Hi All
I have a SMIL script that plays image, audio and video from different files using Quicktime in Windows.
After downloading each component (image, audio or parts of a video) of the smil script, the player waits till the next component from another file is downloaded.
Due to network delays and other uncontrollable factors, the smil file doesnt play properly and hangs in between when put on a remote public server and viewed from a client machine.
Is there a way to completely download the smil script on the client machine at one go so that the smil script plays properly ??
ORCan the player play the components/parts that have already been downloaded and simultaneously keep on downloading the remaining components so that the viewer doesn't have to wait (somewhat like buffering) ??
Help would be sincerely appreciated....
