SMW 1.4.3 vs Bundle

Hello All,

The current version of of SMW as posted on source fourge is 1.4.3.  However, if you install SMW using semantic bundle you get version 1.5 (according to Special Pages:Version).  Are there any major differences between the two?  Why hasn't 1.5 been made available for direct download?  Is it still being tweeked?  Just wondering...

Hi,

As far as I know, the Semantic Bundle uses the most current version of
SMW (which is 1.5 but not yet released officially). You get the most
current version from the svn trunk of SMW.  Yaron may correct me if I
am wrong on this.

A notice on this: we do the same for the Halo extension. There are
nightly builds and you can also access the svn trunk, to get the most
resent version.  Actually this is what's currently being developed.
These are fixes to known bugs as well as new developments.  However for
a production environment, be careful. Sometimes something doesn't work
as expected, or there are some bugs in a new feature. However in most of the
cases you should't notice anything weird.

Using the lastest release ensures usually that there has been done some
quality management and it's proven that the software works as
specified.

Best regards, Stephan
