Petals-platformHi, I’m trying to test petals
in a distributed configuration.
On Ubuntu 1, I have install petals-sample-clock-1.5.zip
=> install OK On Ubuntu 2, I have install petals-sample-client-1.4.3.zip=>
install OK With the sample client, I can get the endpoint of
sample clock but when I try to send a message, I get : javax.jbi.messaging.MessagingException:
org.ow2.petals.jbi.messaging.routing.RoutingException:
org.ow2.petals.transport.platform.MultiTransportException: Failed to send
synchronously the exchange: petals:uid:A5715D1E6C81B1573B27994718558321. All
transporters attempts failed Thanks in advance, Damien DESPRES - Ingénieur Développement

Re: RE: Re: Petals-platformCan you turn the dispacher debug on?
Edit the logger.properties file and set: 'logger.Petals.Transporter.Dispatcher.level DEBUG' Maybe you will have more information, otherwise you'll have to turn the debugs traces on for DREAM and JORAM transporters: 'logger.Petals.Transporter.DreamTransporter.TransportAgent.level DEBUG logger.org.objectweb.joram.level INFO' and eventually 'logger.fr.dyade.aaa.level INFO' Regards, /Roland Le mardi 05 août 2008 à 17:08 +0200, Despres a écrit : > Yes, i think i'm ok with that, the 2 petals node can see each other and with > sample client I manage to get the endpoint of petals sample which is on the > other node. > > > Damien DESPRES - Ingénieur Développement > +33 (0)5 62 24 70 18 > > ________________________________ > > > 24, rue Hermès - BP 12113 > 31521 Ramonville Saint-Agne cedex > Tel: +33 (0)5 62 24 70 00 > Fax: +33 (0)5 62 24 70 01 > www.magellium.fr > > MAGELLIUM > > > > > -----Message d'origine----- > De : Roland Naudin - EBM WebSourcing > [mailto:roland.naudin@...] > Envoyé : mardi 5 août 2008 17:00 > À : petals-users@... > Objet : [petals-users] Re: Petals-platform > > Hello Damien, > > Did you configure your topology.xml and server.properties files > according to your topology? > > Le mardi 05 août 2008 à 16:56 +0200, Despres a écrit : > > Hi, > > > > > > > > I’m trying to test petals in a distributed configuration. > > > > * I have 2 virtual ubuntu on vmare on a network 192.168.16.* > > * I use petals-platform-2.1.2 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > On Ubuntu 1, I have install petals-sample-clock-1.5.zip => install OK > > > > On Ubuntu 2, I have install petals-sample-client-1.4.3.zip=> install > > OK > > > > > > > > With the sample client, I can get the endpoint of sample clock but > > when I try to send a message, I get : > > > > > > > > javax.jbi.messaging.MessagingException: > > org.ow2.petals.jbi.messaging.routing.RoutingException: > > org.ow2.petals.transport.platform.MultiTransportException: Failed to > > send synchronously the exchange: > > petals:uid:A5715D1E6C81B1573B27994718558321. Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Petals-platformDo you use the same topology.xml and server.properties files on your 2
nodes? container name in the server.properties and in the topology.xml files must match, and you must define a unique name per container. if you have set the same name on your 2 nodes, it won't work! petals-external-generic-clientHi,
Yet an other question: I'd like to connect to the bus from an external client. For example, I'd like to have an eclipse plugin that can do the same things than the sample-client-component. What's the best way to do that? I've seen the petals-external-generic-client directory on the svn. Is this a model that could be used? Is it still working and up-to-date? Cheers, Damien -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the petals-users@... mailing list. To unsubscribe: mailto:petals-users-unsubscribe@... Re: petals-external-generic-clientHello Damien,
In fact, this library was an attempt to build a generic client to interact with the RMI SE component, but it is not achieved. You can either build your external graphical client with the RMI component and its related tools libraries, or you can design a new component, like a JMX component, to interact with it via JMX. The idea of having an eclipse panel with a graphical client, similar the the sample client has been often invoked. In fact, there is many tools that we want to provides in a eclipse plugin... ;-) Maybe we can create a subject on the PEtALS forum about it. If you want to contribute to that idea, it would be with great pleasure! RE: Re: petals-external-generic-clientThanks, i've tried to make the petals-rmi-client in
