Hello.

I have problem with making and using squashfs images.

I am using Ubuntu 9.10, squashfs 4.0, kernel 2.6.31-19

I make next steps:

1. I make image of one big file (5 gig) - ext3fs.img using mksquashfs.
mksquashfs works without errors.

2. I mount squashfs using loop device. This works well.

3. I try calculate md5sum of ext3fs.img in mounted directory/
On this step I get Input/Output error and message "SQUASHFS error: zlib_inflate error, data probably corrupt" in dmesg.

Also I tried copy file ext3fs.img - I get same result
I tried unsquashfs it - got error while unsquashing.

Also I tried mksquashfs from cvs - same result.

I tried apply 'race condition patch' - same result
I tried using '-processors 1' option - same result.

Ilya.
