hello,

I recently started using squirrelmail again.
I've read on the wiki that starting with version 1.5.1 it supports STARTTLS.
But on the download page the development version (1.5.x) is said to be unavailable or outdated.
The stable version 1.4.17 supports only TLS.

I realy wanted to use STARTTLS.
I was wondering if this feature will be backported to 1.4 or if it will be available in 1.6 ?

And if it will be available only in 1.6 , do you have an estimate when this version will be available?

If I were to write a patch for STARTTLS may I submit it for inclusion in the stabe 1.4 branch.

What about "See SVN Snapshot Below" is not understandable? It's even a link.

What I understood from that is that the development version is unavailable or outdated (mainly outdated). (Including the development SVN Spashot )
I see from your answer that I misunderstood.

Maybe for clarity reasons it should have stated: Use instead the development snapshot bellow.

For clarity reasons people should also know that main StartTLS code is in two code blocks. One block for IMAP and other for SMTP starttls. It is very easy to port it to 1.4.x.
