STK 1.1 documentation and best practices?

Hello,

is there somewhere a documentation or reference manual for all the configuration settings of the STK, and for what/where exactly they are of use?
Also, is there info about best practices how to implement a design using the STK? There are ofcourse a lot of places and ways to modify the STK..
