STK 1.1 documentation and best practices?

Hello,
is there somewhere a documentation or reference manual for all the configuration settings of the STK, and for what/where exactly they are of use? Also, is there info about best practices how to implement a design using the STK? There are ofcourse a lot of places and ways to modify the STK.. cheers! Olaf |

we've read all the documentation and WIKI info on the STK. Thanks for the links :) Still i think there needs to be a reference manual with all the configuration settings that are available, and their place and impact. Absolutely. More detailed documentation is still work-in-progress which is partly a reason why we have it on wiki for now. But we are definitively working on it, trying to make it better and more detailed. If you find pieces there that are too brief or unclear you might want to drop short comment on the page or even contribute your finding on how to work with any particular feature to make it easier for us to incorporate such into the documentation and for other readers to use this documentation until the final version is out. - all objects are wired up by using content2bean (so there is a one to one mapping between configuration and java classes) - see chapter Content2Bean in http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/reference/configuration.html - the most relevant starting points are: -- STKTemplate [1] class for template definition -- Site [2] class for site configuration -- ThemeImpl [3] class for theme configuration I will add this to the wiki pages so that at least we have a basic entry point for now.
