SURROUNDING AN ENEMY?

Im having a little trouble creating a team consisting
of 8 bots which would surround an enemy without hitting
walls a lot and eachother and then once the 'enemy' bot has
been surrounded only then fire upon it.

Does anyone have any ideas how i can do this?
Im totally stumped.
