Hi folks.

Any chance someone can post a quick rundown of how to get Lasso going
with SVN, onto Lassotech?  This new option is new to some of us and I
thought it could benefit us, by offering an update system with
rollbacks.  We're into a new version of Lasso as public Beta, and we
could benefit from such a system.

Are you talking about Lasso 9?
Why not ask on the beta list?

To ask anybody that might not even be on the Beta List, I guess.  I
thought better posted in here for some reason.  Today has been a
complete spin.

I'm taking Richards Taubos excellent walk thru from the beta list and
putting it on Lassotech. Hopefully Richard and others will fill in
possible gaps.

Let me know if it's not OK, Richard.

I'll holler when it's done.

Excellent.  I see Kyle has posted that the recent .dylib replacement
caused some issues, so that hopefully was today's issue.

Now, I've actually liked where the installer puts Lasso, in

/Library/Lasso/

So I took Rick's installation file (I'm cleaning up mine now) and
modified it to suit my needs.  Rick and I were going over it today,
and thought there might be an issue with putting it there, as things
were super swirly today.  But that might be associated with the
dylib.  I dunno.  Any thoughts on permissions issues in /Library/Lasso/?

And lastly, are there issues with apache config files having #
comments on the same line after the command?  I tend to put my Lasso
comments to the right, as I have the space on the monitor, and it
shortens up code vertically.  I'll send you my file when it's clean,
Jolle.  Maybe it's of use to you.

A version of Richards Taubos walk thru on setting up Lasso using
Subversion is now available on Lassotech:

If there's something to improve. Improve.

I am improving the article found over there now.
A few things have changed since that time, e.g. the server is not
called lassopro anymore but lassoserver
I will have the article up in about half an hour.
