Sail # 402

I thought I had the only Rhodes 22 on Isle of Wight Bay.  My sail has no #
on it and I have a blue hull, so this isn't a picture of me cruising, but
the location is either Isle of Wight Bay or Assawoman Bay.  Does anyone have
any information on the owner of a Rhodes 22 with mainsail # 402?

Thanks

Tom,

I don't get it.  How can you enjoy a cruise if you're not in the boat that
is cruising?  Anyway, nice picture.

Rick,

Fred Heinlen is in the Ocean Pines, MD Sailing Club with me.  He took the
picture, and thinking I was at the helm, added the caption.  He KNOWS I have
a navy hull, so it was probably just one of those senior moments we older
folks are going through.  Anyway, you're right - - nice picture.

Bob,

Are you still monitoring this list?  Do you still have your Rhodes at the Ocean Pines Country Club?  Sure looks like you in that picture.

Well,
After a kind invite from a member who shall remain anonymous, so he
won't get blamed, I've rejoined the list.  I've really missed all the
sailors and the sailing talk and info.  I looked at the post for the month
of October and I can only assume that it must have been a case of selective
alien abduction.  I've not done much since last year except I managed to
miss the Northwest San Juan rally.  It sounds like the guys had a great
time.  I did get up in the neighborhood a month late for a couple of weeks
and it was beautiful.  I told Caesar that next summer I would really make it
up on time.  I almost forgot what a great support you guys are for each
other and for Stan and he for us. It is good to be back.

I am at work this AM & the store is beginning to flood.
The YP store (www.yankeepointmarina.com) is an old oyster house & sits over the water. When the tide is higher than normal, it floods. there was 34" of water when Isabel came thru & abt 20" for Ernesto. Probably won't have more than 6" this time but being marooned here until the flood goes down makes me nuts.....
I'd send a picture but forgot my card reader...will take one anyway & send it along later..

Kathy and I managed to get out on a Capri 22 yesterday on San Diego Bay.  Got out about a mile from Point Loma and then back to the Coronado Bridge.  What a great sailing venue.  Wind could have been a bit better but none-the-less, we had a ball.

Spotted one R22.

Heading back to Florida tomorrow and hope the launch the R22 "NoKaOi III" in Stuart on Wednesday!

Hi Chris,

Good do hear from you.  I have been thinking about calling you.  I have been watching my Rhodes 22 Inbox grow to over 200 emails, and couldn't do much about it.  I have only now begun to skim through it quickly - 169 more to go.

I will give you a call in a few days to find out about your adventure into Canada, and I still have in mind to give a more detailed account to the list of joys and adversities I experienced on our Northwest Rhodes 22 Fleet Sail.

Hey Caesar,
Nice to hear from you too.  I sat down to finish my short
narration and start inserting pictures (alla my previous post on Baja).  I
will defer to you if you would prefer posting first as it was really the
"fleet's trip" I was quite the Johnny-come-lately.  Hey for sure we will get
