Greetings,

The official release of Sakai 2.5.0 is being delayed to the week of 10
March 2008 due to continuing complications in upgrading our build
management software.  As a result of the delay we will also be
incorporating a few recently added performance improvements in to the
release.  These and several other fixes, which have been tested in
production at several universities, have been added to the 2.5.x
maintenance branch:

https://source.sakaiproject.org/svn//sakai/branches/sakai_2-5-x/

We will likely provide another release candidate RC3 from this branch on
Monday, which will incorporate these fixes, while we continue to work on
the build management process.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
