Sakai Skin Showcase on ConfluenceIn confluence there is a showcase of different institutional skins.
This is a great way to show off the flexibility of the skinning architecture in Sakai (thank you, Gonzalo!) and selling Sakai to the outside world. However, the page hasn't had a lot of action in a while. Last night, I updated Berkeley with our skin update of last year. http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/UI/Sakai+screenshots I'd love to see some new and updated skins posted here. (I know that there's some great skin design work happening out there. Stanford? NYU? Georgia Tech?) Currently represented are: - Virginia Tech - Foothill College | Etudes - Rutgers University - UC Berkeley - University of Michigan - Boston University School of Management - Universidade Fernando Pessoa - Texas State University | San Marcos - Portland State University Please post your screen shots. Thanks, Eli . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . RE: Sakai Skin Showcase on ConfluenceI've updated the Boston University images and rationale.
It's pretty encouraging to see how much of what I struggled to put into our skin in 2.1 and 2.2 has been adopted as general practice by the time we get to version 2.5! Re: Sakai Skin Showcase on ConfluenceWe have a machine running that serves as a showcase for skins:
http://skinmanager.edia.nl. You can use our skin manager there and there are three sites that all users can select a skin for. That way people can switch between skins quickly to compare features of different skins. The server is open to everyone.
