FC11-X86_64/KDE.

How do I setup a Samsung CLX-3170 Scanner in FC11 ?

I went to Sane.com no help on this scanner.

I googled FC11 , Samsung CLX-3170 04e8:342a scanner setup, no help
there, plenty vendors wanting to sell me one.

I need to know what files in saned I need to setup.

Samsung said it will work in Sane in Linux.

# scanimage -L
No scanners were identified.

# sane-find-scanner
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04e8 [Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.],
product=0x342a [CLX-3170 Series]) at libusb:002:002

I found some advice on the web for my Samsung machine (not the same as yours
 but a corresponding approach may work) -

Just a chance this may help?
