ScoreEditor to Synth-box

I am new to PWGL but have been programming for a long time. The main reason I am taking a look at PWGL is the ability to generate scores and experiment with generative music. However, after experimenting with the synth-box and making simple patches I wanted to connect the score to the synth to trigger, and vary frequency and amplitudes. I tried using the score2simple control with no success.

can this be done? is there a way to connect a score to a Synth patch?
