Script-Fu, Layer Effects, Bevel and Emboss

I use this script with the text tool.  I change the settings to inner
bevel, the shadow color and the depth and blur radius.  When I close
GIMP and reopen the settings revert back to the old original settings.
 Is there a way to maintain my custom settings when GIMP is closed and
reopened.  Thanks for any help.  BTW I'm using GIMP 2.4.6 and win vista.
