	Search on a custom text field / Plugin by forums-5 :: Rate this Message: Reply to Author \| View Threaded \| Show Only this Message Hi, I've got a custom text field where the value VCR-RIN-0007 is entered. I'm now searching/filtering on this field entering the value V*7 but I don't get any results back. Is the the term VCR-RIN-0007 recognized as one or more words? In addition, is there a plugin available to extend the quick search function allowing me to search also on custom text fields? I have the same issue: Custom fields with "Text Field (< 255 characters)" field type (which comes with JIRA) do not show up\not available in JIRA portlet as a "groupable" field. For example, if I have a field "User ID" which is Text Field (< 255 characters), it doesn't show up in XAxis or YAxis dropdown list in Two Dimensional Filter Statistics portlet.
