Position:       Security Auditor
Location:       Reston, Virginia, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2008-12-12

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be clearable to the Top Secret level.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for maintaining information security-related content on internal web servers, managing and moderating information security discussion boards, and providing information security guidance to users and managers worldwide. As a key member of an information security team, this individual will be exposed to all aspects of the security field, such as vulnerability assessment, C&A, policy development, and INFOSEC training. This individual will work with subject matter experts in the security field and have an immediate impact on the customer’s information security capabilities.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Must possess 2 years IT experience with a BS degree. Degree may be substituted with 4 years related experience. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience using and administering with the following technologies:
• Website maintenance on Microsoft platforms
• Content Management Systems (Joomla, Mambo, Drupal, WordPress, etc.)
• Crystal Reports
• Discussion Forums

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a working knowledge of the following concepts and/or methodologies:
• Information security best practices
• Familiar with Certification and Accreditation (FISMA-based approach preferred)
• Information classification

A key to success in this position will be the ability to find information and master security-related concepts and technology quickly.
