Position:       Senior Software Engineer
Location:       St. Paul, Minnesota, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2008-12-12

Senior Engineer-JAVA (1377-08)

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Java software development experience. Strong communication skills and an ability to perform work in a team environment are required as well. Tasks will cover all aspects of software development including design, implementation, unit testing, and integration.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Proficient with Java, OO Design
Programming and Patterns
Experience with an J2EE Application Server (JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, etc.)
Experience with Swing user interface development
Experience with XML, XSLT and SOAP
Experience working inside of frameworks (Hibernate, JMS)
Knowledge of SQL and database design
Exposure to various SQL databases (MsSQL, Oracle, MySql, etc.) a plus.
Exposure to Unix (Linux/Solaris)
Working knowledge of at least one development IDE (Eclipse, NetBeans, etc.) and version control system (CVS, SourceSafe, etc.)
