Separate ltsp-server

Hi, Im sorry to bother you guys again..

I used the guide http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/Documentation/Squeeze/HowTo/NetworkClients to try to make a separate server for workstations.

I installed from scratch using debian-edu 6.04 cd-rom, choosing "Thinclient server" when installing. Nic 0 has 10.0.2.10, nic 1 is there but unplugged, since Im not going to use it for thinclients.


Then I changed the /var/lib/tftpboot/debian-edu/default-diskless.cfg on Tjener to point at

DEFAULT ltsp/i386/vmlinuz initrd=ltsp/i386/initrd.img nfsroot=10.0.2.10:/opt/ltsp/i386 boot=nfs ro quiet 3
(Which is in fact the ip I choosed.)

I added this server as ltspserver00 (named as suggested) in Tjener, using Gosa2, as a server and picked the nis-groups ltsp.server-hosts, server-hosts, all-hosts and fs-autoresize-hosts.

I Installed xfce4 and updated the chroot image
All worked nicely and I could start ws using the new server (Since I didnt do any changes to desktop layout/menu I could easily see I got the os from the new server.)

But, of course it can't be this easy.. The workstations starts from time to time, but often I instead get the message;


after getting the lease and printing out (a lot) this comes:

root server 10.0.2.2 rootpath ok...
Filename /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.0
mount call failed - server replied: Permission denied
mount call failed - server replied: Permission denied
last message  repeats over and over again.

What seems strange to me is that it is a bit random... aproximately 1 out of 4 times it boots, 3 out of 4 it fails... Permission should not change from time to time, so there ought to be something else causing this?

Are there any other guides or info on how to do this?
