Sewer Rate Increase Postponed

The Prop 218 proposed 50% rate increase has been postponed until Jan 18 2010 to provide the community with additional information from the BVWD, to receive additional comments from the community and to collect needed scientific data related to sewer treatment.  Use this opportunity to ask questions and make comments regarding sewer operations and rates. The rate increase will go into effect following January unless sufficient information is received which will alter the decision to build a tertiary treatment plant of the type currently being considered.
