Shale and AJAX4JSF issueHi,
I am seeing the exact issue mentioned in: https://issues.apache.org/struts/browse/SHALE-409 From the thread I am not clear, if the solution really works while using A4J and Shale. Do we have a stable build for Shale that addresses this issue? Regards, Shridhar N S Sr.Web Engineer. RE: Shale and AJAX4JSF issueHi Rahul,
Thank you for your reply. I got the source for 1.0.5 and built it as mentioned in that bug. But we don't use facelets, so I couldn't use FaceletViewHandler. However, I tried making all the other changes mentioned in the bug. After those changes, I could get the a4j working. But when I have any a4j action tags like a4j:commandButton etc, I need to surround it with a4j:region. This breaks the ability of partial refreshing of the page, instead it refreshed the whole page. I also posted the question on a4j forum: http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4208054#4208054 Any further help is very much appreciated.
