You can get the introduction from wikipedia (up to the contents index) from the BBC website.
Just stick wikipedia.xml, wikipedia.json or wikipedia.yaml on to the end of the URL:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/artists/54266e9c-7098-48ea-bb70-e25fdfa14227/wikipedia.xml
This gets live updates from Wikipedia and hourly updates from MusicBrainz.

Thanks for all previous help on artist-photos.
Next question of the same type; does a short description of the artist/group
exist in MB. Just trying to save myself from making a clever regexp for
Wikipedia lookups. (This is just for demo purposes)
