Short description of you BPM project with SharkHi all,
it would not be a bad thing to hear from all users (readers of the listserv) of Shark/JaWE what they use the engine for. So let the best Shark listserv thread begin.... END OF MAIN EMAIL IDEA And we should set a nice example so we will start. We use shark in healthcare domain and in research settings. We like the graphical nature of process definitions. We use community edition. We also purchased and use pro version. We use MySQL as db and JBoss version. We also use web admin client. We wrote a lot of Java based Tool Agents. And (an important part of this post) I wanted to share with Shark authors - and as a thank you for their work and as a token of appreciation - here is a publications they can refer to where JaWE screenshot is part of a scientific journal article (also attached - screenshots) :-) Yeeeey. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19560553 http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jbi.2009.06.001 The article is about special case of a use of workflow technology. We also work on a prospective mode where a workflow engine is used as a healthcare system's (Hospital/Clinic IS) decision support system (DSS) (wf engine is the engine of such DSS). --------------------------------------------------------------- Vojtech Huser, MD, PhD Biomedical Informatics Research Center, Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation http://www.marshfieldclinic.org/birc http://healthcareworkflow.wordpress.com -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the shark@... mailing list. Re: Short description of you BPM project with SharkHi,
we already have some showcases, and you can read about it here: http://together.at/together/prod/tws/showcase/index.html, and it would be really nice to have more users reporting their showcases. Can we add your implementation to the list? Thanks for the article! Regards, Sasa.
