Hi Michael,

I'll have to miss Friday(work), but I'll be up on Saturday & Sunday. I signed up for the "First Tracks" with Martin Sat. morning. I'm hoping, weather permits and it will be nice. I'm also hoping Friday will e a "digout" day and by Saturday Grizzly will be open.

Hi Michael,

If they open Grizzly today, as they should, today will be all-time epic! Unfortunately, my timing is bad(again!) and I have to work.  Yesterday, Sunday, was fantastic on the upper mountain. I arrived early and enjoy fresh tracks in two feet of light powder ALL DAY.

The "Fresh Tracks" with Martin on Saturday was fun. About a dozen people showed for the early tracks. We skied a few groomers on the front, Yellow Sub, R & R and then a great run back down to the village off the lunch run. It was fun and look for expanded plans in the future. I'd definitely do it again.

Griz is not open yet. The wind came up so it may be wind packed. I'll be sure to shred some fresh tracks for you.

Michael,

Big snow coming in this weekend, I'll be up Saturday, if my wife doesn't stop me. Definitely Sunday. It looks like a major dump Saturday nite. Martin is doing another "Fresh Tracks" on Sunday morning. Sunday morning may be epic.

sorry no BV topic...  but for variety only; There was another calling for me this past weekend: http://www.sailinganarchy.com/fringe/2008/moore%20frisco.jpg. The 20 kts of wind may be bad for skiing, but for sailing on a Moore24 in the bay, it can't be beat.

looks pretty awesome... probably got a good dose of ocean spray... boating in the Bay is a whole nother adventure. I've done a little sailing and a little more power boating. Winds/currents... it can be a bit dicey.
