SmartSVN application crashes

Hi,

we are using SmartSVN on Windows XP Pro 32 bit and have problems with application crashes. The SmartSVN window just closes without any notice. Even if it is running in the background and you are not using it actively. "Nest in system tray" is deactivated in my configuration but sometimes, mostly after crashes, SmartSVN appears there nonetheless until you hover over the icon.

The problem occurs since we are using current versions of SmartSVN for about half a year, starting with version 5.x.

We used SmartCVS before, without these problems.

Unfortunately, the crashes seem to occur randomly, about 3 to 5 times a day. Most of my colleagues also have this problem.

Cannot find anything in the Windows Event Viewer.

Our working copies are on a Samba share.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are there some stack traces in %APPDATA%/syntevo/SmartSVN/5/log.txt (or
%APPDATA%/syntevo/SmartSVN/6/log.txt for version 6). Are there hs_err_pid*.log
files generated in SmartSVN's working directory (probably bin/-directory).
Please send all available information to smartsvn@.... Thanks!
