Snowmobile day at BVMR?

any word on whether the mountain is going to let us snowmobile up and down the mountain this spring???

Not sure.  Best to ask them.  I think there is something in the works, but has a small window of participation.

What did you hear back about snowmobile use at the Mt?

Have heard there is going to be some work done soon after closure, on the area around Super Cub in preparation of future chair replacement. Hence, Spring snomo use would be in the way
Maybe, after the 'town to mt' lift goes in, they will consider summer bike usage there.  I have always hoped for a year round venue in that beautiful bowl.

so no snowmobiling, at all, this year at the mountain???

Don't think so.  but don't quote me.  It probably isn't a good experience anyway... after today and on, the snow is changing rapidly around town-  sink or swim soon.

With Plans to operate the ski area on weekends thru April, I wouldn't think they'd allow snowmobiles at least until the end of April. After that, I wonder how much or how good the snow would be.

a parking lot attendant at BVMR said they might allow snowtoys on the mountain after all, but to check with the Sheriff, who is taking direction from the NFS. If I see him out and about I will ask.
