This part is getting tricky. The sound cards work great alone but get
confused working together. Then there is going to be some tinkering with
adapters between sound cards and amplifiers.
The computer speakers without amplifiers don't work. I suppose certain
sound cards would drive them, but not the ones I have. Well, I do have
one that might, but I displaced that so I could put in a network card.
With a network card I can send screenshots to other people who can tell
me what the heck is wrong, LOL.
Right now I am working with my first *real* amplifier and speaker. These
are a Fender 2 x 15 from maybe 1968 and a somewhat later, but not much
later. Peavey XR 600C mixer amp. Lots of knobs, plugs and cables.
I spent all night scrubbing the nicotine stains off of them. I guess
back in those days people were allowed to smoke in clubs. They are clean
now.
