Spacing between bullet & text

Hi
How can I control the spacing between the bullet and the first character in the text -both for unorderedlist and orderedlist?
Essentially, i am trying to get from:

    9. aaaa
    10. bbbb

to

    9.  aaaa
    10. bbbb

Use the itemizedlist.label.width and orderedlist.label.width parameters, or
the dbfo label-width processing instruction.
