Available at debian.pumuki.org/spamassassin/ I have installed it and tested it, and if no biggies show up I will upload for volatile in the next few days. Hey, thanks for your work. However it seems your package spamassassin_3.2.5-0.volatile1_all.deb depends on perl-modules >= 5.10 which is of course not available in Etch. Thus throwing an error at install time. regards jules -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-volatile-request@... with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmaster@... |

Updated with the same version number. Use apt-get install --reinstall spamassassin Or download and install it with dpkg. Hey, installation/upgrade looks good now. sa-update works and the rules compile fine (only checked with re2c from backports) I had it ran on three servers over the past two days, processing a few thousand messages. No problems so far. Even per-msg-scantime went down a bit with 3.2.5 thanks again. Jules -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-volatile-request@... with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Re: Re: Spamassassin 3.2.5 available for etch.Hi folks,
I noticed the spamassassin in volatile is 3.2.3 from 2007. There was some discussion in Sept 2008 about updating the version in volatile to the 3.2.5 release, but nothing appears to have happened with it. Is there anything in particular blocking it? Can someone from the outside (me) help, so systems running etch can always have the latest spamassassin going on their systems? (Like mine? :) ) Thanks, B -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-volatile-request@... with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmaster@... |

I apologize to anyone that found me unappreciative; I benefit from Debian far more than I contribute back, and would be disappointed to see debian-volatile disappear. -- Boyd Stephen Smith Jr. ,= ,-_-. =. bss@... If you prepare good and working packages, that is. Please first put the packages (with a version larger than the current one and smaller than the volatile one) to some place for public review. If they're ok, I'm happy to upload them. Cheers, Andi -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-volatile-request@... with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmaster@... |
