Download the Spring distribution in SpringSource. Its free. Included in the
distribution are tutorial apps and PDF reference. They have excellent
reference for Spring (Of course they should, they are the author of the
framework).

Cheers.

First, study the concept of Inversion of control (Ioc) or dependency injection.
Visiting the spring framework site and read the docs will give you enough background of the framework. If you can, grab a book for everyday reference.
Lastly, apply what you learn from exercises and doing your own sample web app.

Spring is a framework of open source community and it composed of collective info in Java community. So experience in Java is a must.

Peace

No problem. Another advice - you need some background on basic design
patterns else you won't appreciate what Spring framework is trying to solve
in the first place. XD

If the Spring reference gets too technical or too abstract, grab Spring in
Action by Manning. It has a illustrative and descriptive analogy on the
problem domain of Spring.

Cheers!

Thanks again Jerwin.. I already have background especially with the GoF and J2EE pattern ;-)
I'll try the Spring in Action by Manning as you have suggested  ;-)

Cheers!
