Sr. Visual Designer

iNautix USA, an affiliate of Pershing and BNY Mellon, is looking for a Sr. Visual Designer to join the User Experience
Design (UXD) team in Jersey City, NJ.

The designer will be responsible for leading visual designs for enterprise applications and customer technology
projects to support businesses and customers in the financial services industry.  

The senior level designer candidate must have a fundamental understanding  of design as a discipline of user and
business centered design, extensive knowledge of information design, identity design, GUI design, interactive design,
site structure, design process / methodologies and the latest interactive design, multimedia production and HTML
tools. Candidate must be familiar with the current design and technology trends and methodologies. Candidate must
be a strong leader, forward thinking, work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

The candidate must have a BA, BFA, MFA or the equivalent in graphic design/media design/computer graphics with
an emphasis on software development and web site design. Must have a good sense of design and proper training
with typography/storyboarding/design prototype/presentation and interface layout and must be up-to-date with
multimedia design tools and technologies.

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in multimedia design. The candidate should have a good
understanding of information design, interactive media and software development environment. The candidate
should have the ability to take projects from concept to completion. This candidate should work well on a design
team, possess some leadership skills, and must be fast and resourceful.

The candidate must be proficient with all design tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, AfterEffects, Premier,
PowerPoint, and Visio. A good understanding of, and experience with, Flash animation and Actionscript are
mandatory. The candidate must possess excellent experience with HTML, CSS and very capable of producing cross-
browser, cross-platform, modular and reusable code. Experience or knowledge of Java script, SQL, ColdFusion, Flex,
PHP is a plus.

Candidate must show initiative, be reliable, able to take responsibility, and manage their own time.  Excellent
interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are necessary.

iNautix UXD team provides services in user experience designs, usability testing, multimedia designs and
documentation to product, technology and business development teams in iNautix USA.  The team consists of user
experience designers, visual designers and a technical writer in US and India.
