I created an new JIRA issue, as I feel that we need better APIs to access information about the environment/browser (Adobe AIR, SafariMobile, Webkit nightly build, Safari version vs. Webkit engine version, Flash 10.1 mobile) with OL apps, in both SWF and DHTML.
