Starting a new troop

I wont go into all the details, but we have several leaders and committee members breaking off from our current troop and re-charter another unit.  I would like to see us use TM with the new unit.  How easy will it be to transfer the information from the existing troops TM to the new unit.

Backup the old Database. Buy another legal copy of TM. Restore to this and
delete unwanted bodies. Pete

Look under the Scout menu bar option for the Transfer Scouts to Another Unit option.  You can select the desired scouts and leaders, and it will generate a flat file that can be loaded in by the Receive Scouts From Another Unit option.
