Hello.

I am using Pidgin 2.5.8 and chatting with a buddy using Trillian. When he signs out, I do not receive any notification that he has signed off. He still shows as available with a green circle in my chat window and I am able to send messages to him, which he never receives because he has signed off….

How can I fix this?

A very good start would be to upgrade Pidgin to the latest version,
which is 2.6.3, and try it again.

If it still doesn't work, then come back to the support list.
