Stock item duplicated

Hello,
I'm with yesterday perp svn and GW 1.6.001 stable release. When I insert a new stock item it appears duplicated in my stock list and, if I try do remove it, at once nothing happens. Then I try to delete again and both items are deleted. Someone knows what is this? Thanks. |

Beyond this, I observed that when I save a new stock item, the select box of stock categories becomes empty. No sense, but is it. Then, when I return to stock list, duplicated items, and deleting one of them, the two disappear. |

I've observed some other problems...
1) When I add a supplier for a stock item, this supplier don't appear on tab "Suppliers", and; 2) When I add a second supplier for the same item, the item appears 4 times in my stock list (twice duplicated, I imagine). 3) After add a supplier for a stock item, I tried to go to this supplier and: An error happend Missing stock_id Help me please |

Hi, I really think you need to check all your inventory and supplier settings again. I don't get duplicated items, and the supplier is shown in the supplier tab. I know this is not a direct answer to your problem, but I would say there is no problem (with pERP). I'd be checking things like address details, and accounting details, and also checking they are linked, and cross linked properly (ie. put them in wherever you can). Maybe a check of your inventory pricing would highlight something as well. Regards John

Hello,
I uninstalled the inventory, and reinstalled it again, clearing all related tables. When I created the first stock item, it appeared twice on stock list. Then I went to database and verified that the stock_id was 15, and changed it to 01. The item appeared three times. When I changed from 1 to 2, it appeared 166 times, (the same item)and several links between items and suppliers, as if this item already exists before. I changed stock_id from 2 to 16 in DB and stock item appeared only once, as expected. Beyond this, I've observed the mencioned error (An error happened: Missing stock_id) only happened when the IDs generated duplicated stock items. Seems to me, that some information is not erased when I delete stock items or clear the inventory base. What do you think about?

it solved the duplication problem. Many thanks! I still have other strange questions: 1) When I add a supplier for a stock item, this supplier don't appear on tab "Suppliers". The list is always empty, however the item appears correctly on supplier catalog; 2)When I save a new stock item, the select box of stock categories becomes empty and I can't to change the category. No sense, but is it. Can you help me? Thanks once more and regards.
