Re: Stripes Ignored...AgainMy time is limited, but I'll do a design proposal.
You should set a deadline for sending proposals. 1st of January would be great, because of xmas holidays. Meanwhile we can discuss about the content, tech and org issues. Re: Stripes Ignored...Again
Hi everyone
Would it be a good idea to get the newly registered www.stripesframework.org to point to the current site for now. At least its a URL that's memorable. If the current stripes URL is not in my browser history then I have to google for stripes! Re: Stripes Ignored...AgainRight now it runs sites like: http://www.gampmedia.dk http://www.aztagteknik.dk Regarding design - it can be incorporated into just about any design. You simply insert tags where you want to have editable text pieces placed. It has search possibility, multiple language support,... Having the confluence still running would be a good idea since it's a good tool, so we probably should start focusing on getting a front up and running with a link back to the confluence and other resources. This can be hacked as basic HTML for a start. The front should contain an absolute minimum of content (3-4 pictures with links) and should not be edited often. At least for a start. Re: Stripes Ignored...AgainHi Morten,
I was more thinking about a fully static website... do we really need a CMS for that (with all config hassles and maintenance, even if simple) ? A one-page HTML would have been ok for me, it's just that it has to be real nice ;-P All editable content and docos can stay in confluence, we just need a more meaningful URL, don't we ? Re: Stripes Ignored...AgainFor my part I've been doing all my jena apps with stripes and posted a simple example at http://jenabean.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/example/. the jena list is small, but I'm recommending stripes to all requests about frameworks on that NG.
It'll be great when the clean url plugin is standard for stripes, really glad you're takling that Remi. After working on php and ruby apps I'm super sensitive about the .jsp or .action in my urls. Think about it, when you open the website of Ruby on Rails (like http://www.rubyonrails.org/screencasts). Re: Stripes Ignored...Again
Yep a nice front page would be nice, but I was actually suggesting that www.stripes-framework.org points to the current confluence site. We can do that straight away right? Would be an improvement IMHO.

Re: Stripes Ignored...AgainTrue. But for indexing reasons, we should NOT change those URLs too
much. The mc4j urls have to continue working. Maybe we can throw just a very simple "under construction" page on www.stripes-framework.org, with links to the Confluence Wiki and JIRA. So that Google and other bots crawl everything like they should. The "final" web site will anyway have these links on the front page.
