Prime, as Charlie will tell you. Reader, old man, draw in and keep us
company. Well, I declare, this _is_ a jolly family party! And what's the
news down in your part of the world? Have you had a good harvest? My
uncle comes from Cornwall, Charlie." And he gave his friend a lugubrious
wink, as much as to say, "Keep it up." "Do you live near the sea?"
thereupon began Charlie. "Pretty near, that is, about twenty miles off,"
said the uncle, looking at Charlie under his spectacles. "My love, the
gentleman will laugh at you," said his good lady. "I call twenty miles a
long way." "I perfectly agree with you, ma'am," said Charlie, "Twenty
miles is a good distance in this little island of ours. But it's curious
how little they make of such a distance in a big country like India, for
instance, where I am going. There, I am told, it is quite a common thing
for a man to be twenty miles from his next-door neighbour, and yet be on
constant visiting terms." "Dear me!" said the uncle. "You don't know
India, I suppose, sir?" inquired Charlie. "No; that is--" "He's only
read about it in books," again put in the aunt; "and so, my love, you'd
better say at once you don't know anything about it." "Well," said
Charlie, "it depends a good deal on the books. Some books of travel are
so vivid one almost seems to be in the country they describe. "Er--what
did you say, Reader?" Reader was quick enough to take this broad hint,
and keep up the talk. "To my mind, the most interesting books are those
which describe, not so much places, as people and their manners. There
are a great many books of this kind about India. One I lately read was
specially interesting." And then, to Jim's unbounded deli

Be sublet. Walters gave me the address of the agents; and, after
submitting to an examination that could not have been more severe if I
had asked for the hand of the senior partner's daughter, they let me
come here to live. The garden was mine! And the captain? Three days
after I arrived I heard above me, for the first time, the tread of his
military boots. Now again my courage began to fail. I should have
preferred to leave Archie's letter lying in my desk and know my neighbor
only by his tread above me. I felt that perhaps I had been presumptuous
in coming to live in the same house with him. But I had represented
myself to Walters as an acquaintance of the captain's and the caretaker
had lost no time in telling me that "my friend" was safely home. So one
night, a week ago, I got up my nerve and went to the captain's rooms. I
knocked. He called to me to enter and I stood in his study, facing him.
He was a tall handsome man, fair-haired, mustached--the very figure that
you, my lady, in your boarding-school days, would have wished him to be.
His manner, I am bound to admit, was not cordial. "Captain," I began, "I
am very sorry to intrude--" It wasn't the thing to say, of course, but I
was fussed. "However, I happen to be a neighbor of yours, and I have
here a letter of introduction from your cousin, Archibald Enwright. I
met him in Interlaken and we became very good friends." "Indeed!" said
the captain. He held out his hand for the letter, as though it were
evidence at a court-martial. I passed it over, wishing I hadn't come. He
read it through. It was a long letter, considering its nature. While I
waited, standing by his desk--he hadn't asked me to sit down--I looked
about the room. It was much like my own study, only I think a little
dustier. Being on the third floor it was farther from the garden,
consequently Walters reached there seldom. The captain turned back and
began to read the letter again. This was decidedly embarrassing.
Glancing down, I happened to see on his desk an odd knife, which I fancy
he had brought from India. The blade was of steel, dangerously sharp,
the hilt of gold, carved to represent some heathen figure. Then the
captain looked up from Archie's letter and his cold gaze fell full upon
me. "My dear fellow," he said, "to the best of my knowledge, I have no
cousin named Archibald Enwright." A pleasant s

Many organizations are having a big list of contacts. To update latest development about organization activities, various methods of communications are used. E-mail campaigns are very effective and economical way of communication.

With Email campaigns one can send

1. Business Information,

2. Product Details,

3. Catalogs,

4. Discount Schemes,

5. Special Offers,

6. News Letters,

7. Special Promotional Packages,

8. Buy or Sell offers,

9. Invitation for Events,

8. Specially Designed Greeting Cards

11. Personalized e mails

We have tested SugarCRM for Email campaigning and found it very useful. To share our experience with users, we have listed some observations.

1. You can directly import Excel file (CSV format) of your contacts. The emails should be listed in one column of excel sheet. If required other information like Name, Company Name etc. can also be imported in the SugarCRM.

2. We have to create user account on SugarCRM (on our local server or our own PC ) and give information about email authentication, like user id and password, STMP server details. It is advisable to send some test mails to make sure your mails are reaching the target.

3. Schedule the time for sending mails. You can arrange to send mails at pre decided time and date. This feature is very useful. For example you can schedule to send New Year Wishes mails on 31st December at 6.00PM. The mails are sent at that time even if you are not present.

4. In some cases you have to set mailing speed. Like you can set 2 mails per minute. Sending more mails at once create Spamming issues.

5. Now fill email details like Subject, Text and Press send button.

6. You can see SugarCRM giving you reports about How many mails sent, failed and bounced.

We sent a trial list of 2000 E-mails at one go and got success.

If you need assistance for setting your mail campaigns visit our page Fidel SugarCRM or our site http://www.fidelcrm.com . I have seen the page on the Talend certification and the exam on the website ( http://www.talend.com/partners/index.php ).

I wonder what it takes to take the exam, if you need to know well Talend. Also is the exam available for everyone and is it free or paying?

Maybe someone would have an idea? Thank you.

Talend has an interesting project on Talend Open Studio as it has its community at work. Through Babili, the name of the project, users can translate their ETL tool.

As I speak, Chinese is on its way to be translated at 100%. Talend Open Studio is also being translated in other languages.
Hi. Here is what I have to say about the comparison between both programs.

Is using Talend Integration Suite really better compared to using Talend Open Studio?
There are advanced features in the Open Studio: group work, joblets, automatic documentation, advanced wizards... And more for Integration Suite: line command, monitoring console, scheduler. Support is included with Talend Integration Suite (it is a guaranteed support, compared to the community help on the forum-already of a very good level).

On what kind of project can you not use Talend Open Studio and would be best to use Talend Integration Suite?
As soon as you start working with several people on the same project or you would like to use the editor's support, that's when Talend Integration Suite is the right solution.

Is Talend Open Studio as performant as Talend Integration Suite?
Yes, Talend Open Studio is a full version of Talend Integration Suite comparing performance between both tools. On same jobs, you will find the exact same results with either tool. Go look at the comparison matrix between both tools: http://www.talend.com/products-data-integration/matrix.php

This solution is based on the open source Talend Open Studio. You are offered a collaborative platform to work on, meaning that all your teams in different countries will be working on the same database on a secured web service.

Ve of God, yet certainly no true believer should remain satisfied in the
absence of this blessed peace. Not a few had hitherto been accustomed to
take for granted that they might be Christians, though they knew of no
change, and had never thought of enjoying the knowledge of the love of
God as their present portion. They heard that others, who were reckoned
believers, had doubts; so they had come to consider fears and doubts as
the very marks of a believing soul. The consequence had been, that in
past days many concluded themselves to be Christians because they seemed
to be in the very state of mind of which those who were reputed to be
believers spoke, viz. doubt and alarm. Alas! in _their_ case there could
be nothing else, for they had only a name to live. Some one wrote to
him, putting several questions concerning conversion, assurance, and
faith, which had been stirred up by his ministry. The import of the
questions may be gathered from his reply, which was as follows:-- "1. _I
doubt if there are many saints who live and die without a comfortable
sense of forgiveness and acceptance with God._ The saints of whom the
Bible speaks seem to have enjoyed it richly both in life and death. See
the murderers of our Lord, Acts 2:41;

the date of Langarrow a thousand years or so. Some have imagined that
the destruction occurred at the time when Lyonesse was swallowed by the
waves, leaving only the Scillies to point to its former extent; and
there have been those who identified this catastrophe with the tempest
mentioned in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle under the date 1099. Others,
again, without daring to name a date, have thought that the storm which
destroyed Langarrow may have been the same as that which overwhelmed the
"Lost Hundred" of Cardigan Bay. But without denying these convulsions of
nature, we cannot venture to identify or time them. The name of
Langarrow, however, may safely be regarded as historic; and this, with
its variants of Languna or Langona, is the earliest name that we can
trace at Crantock. It proves the existence of a settlement here before
the time of St. Carantoc; it seems also to prove the earlier existence
of a church. The "garrow" might denote an untraceable St. Garrow or
Carrow. Langona has been differently interpreted as the "Meadow Church"
and the "Church on the Downs," either of which names would be
appropriate. But we reach something more definite when we come to St.
Carantoc himself, the Irish Cairnech or Crannach. He is a genuine
personality of British saint-lore, the only doubt being whether he was
an Irishman, a Welshman, or a Cornishman. All three countries have
claimed him. Most likely he was a Welshman, and as he lived at a time
when Wales and Cornwall were practically one land, Cornwall must not
feel defrauded if this decision is arrived at. The most notable point
about Cairnech is his connection with St. Patrick
become extinct in some parts of the world. The export of plumage from
India is unlawful, but this fact does not prevent a very large feather
trade being carried on, since it is not difficult to smuggle "ospreys"
out of the country. Doubtless the existing Notification of the
Government of India, prohibiting the export of plumage, has the effect
of checking, to some extent, the destruction of egrets, but there is no
denying the fact that many of the larger species are still shot for
their plumes while breeding. In the case of cattle-egrets (_Bubulcus
coromandus_) the custom of shooting them when on the nest has given
place to a more humane and more sensible method of obtaining their
nuchal plumes. These, as we have seen, arise early in May, but the birds
do not begin to nest until the end of June. The cattle-egret is
gregarious; it is the large white bird that accompanies cattle in order
to secure the insects put up by the grazing quadrupeds. Taking advantage
of the social habits of these egrets the plume-hunters issue forth early
in May and betake themselves, in parties of five or six, to the villages
where the birds roost. Their apparatus consists of two nets, each some
eight feet long and three broad. These are laid flat on the ground in

Rket, would have been to him a hopelessly unfathomable mystery. Aunt
Charlotte, therefore, was very wise in abstaining from any reference, in
conversation, to the great enterprise for extracting gold from
sea-water, in which she hoped to purchase shares; for one could never
have told what foolish remark he might have made, though it was quite
exasperating. So she kept her secret locked up in her own breast, and
silently counted the hours till she could get a reply from her bankers.
Of course Austin had to give his aunt an account, at breakfast-time next
morning, of the pageant of the previous night; and as he confined
himself to saying that the scenery and dresses were very fine, and that
Mr Buskin was quite unrecognisable, and that all the performers knew
their parts, and that he had walked part of the way home with Roger St
he had enjoyed himself very much. This inevitable duty accomplished,
How fresh and sweet and welcoming the garden looked on that calm, lovely

He little village of Landro (I feel a whimsical satisfaction in the
likeness of the name to mine), the innkeeper was the friend of this
truly great man--the greatest man that Europe has produced in our days,
excepting his true compeer, Kosciusko. Andreas Hofer gave him the chain
and crucifix he wore three days before his death. You may imagine this
man's enthusiasm, who, because I had said that Hofer was greater than
king or emperor, and had made him a present of small value, as the
companion and friend of that harmless and irreproachable hero, took this
precious relic from his neck and offered it to me. By the order of
Bonaparte, the companions of Hofer, eighty in number, were chained,
thumb-screwed, and taken out of prison in couples, to see him shot. He
had about him one thousand florins, in paper currency, which he
delivered to his confessor, requesting him to divide it impartially
among his unfortunate countrymen. The confessor, an Italian who spoke
German, kept it, and never gave relief from it to any of them, most of
whom were suffering, not only from privation of wholesome air, to which,
among other privations, they never had been accustomed, but also from
scantiness of nourishment and clothing. Even in Mantua, where, as in the
rest of Italy, sympathy is both weak and silent, the lowest of the
people were indignant at the sight of so brave a defender of his country
led into the public square to expiate a crime unheard of for many
centuries in their nation. When they saw him walk forth, with unaltered
countenance and firm step before them; when, stopping on the ground
which was about to receive his blood, they heard him with unfaltering
voice commend his soul and his country to the Creator; and, as if still
under his own roof (a custom with him after the evening prayer), implore
a blessing for his boys and his little daughter, and for the mother who
had reared them up carefully and tenderly thus far through the perils
So basically what you want to do is sync up two databases several times a day. You could use Talend Open Studio: it can efficiently do what you are asking, so stay with this tool.
You might want to go check Talend 's page on data synchronization: http://www.talend.com/solutions-data-integration/data-synchronization.php

Just the fact you already know the software and use it, you'll save a lot of time (and money) on this. it is much easier for you than taking a new one.

Hi everyone,

After building a database for our growing company, we have a problem with our data and its synchronization. Our company has a rather small, but growing, book warehouse and sells books online. We have been able to deal with orders and stock because sales were not that large.

But today we sell more and more books and the addition of a database means we need to synchronize our data from the warehouse database to the main office one, mainly to be able to know what kind of stock we have. I think we will have to go with a batch syncing scheduled twice a day for now. We have been dealing with Talend open studio so far and enjoy the product.

Do you think Talend will be able to stand that type of operation? What kind of software could be used in this case?

Thanks all!
