There had been some discussion a while back about how to deal with
alerts and notifications.
Is there any reason why we would not want to add a few more modes such
as "weather_alert" and "breaking_news" or whatever would be useful?
(As a side note, I would have "weather_alert" and "severe_weather_alert"
since I want more aggressive notifications for severe weather.)
