Suggestions?

Hey everyone!

Sorry I've been so quiet lately - just finished university, eek! Yes, you're talking to Llin, BA. Well, almost. Graduation is next week, woohoo!

Anyway, seeing as it's looking likely that SJA will be coming back to our screens sometime in the autumn, I was thinking of doing some kind of countdown to the premiere, a little like the advent calendar last year. So it'd be great if y'all could let me know any ideas you might have for stuff I could do (you would of course be credited), or opinions of what was good and what not-so-good about the advent calendar.

It would be lots of fun to have a countdown, as you suggested.

As far as suggestions go, well, I really liked everything that you had in the Advent calendar, so anything in that same vein would be nice.

Here is one thing I'm interested in...  Remember you wrote that short story about Sarah and the gang getting ready for Christmas?  Well, maybe you could add another installment to that.  Does Sarah buy Luke the same little gadget that Clyde and Maria are hoping to get for Christmas?  What does the gadget do?  (Maybe it's some piece of alien technology that tries to take over the world...I smell an adventure coming!)  Or if you have a new short story written, I'd love to read that, too.

Sorry that I haven't written anything on the Forum for sooooooooo long!  It's been a busy summer...  Anyway, congratulations on your degree--that rocks!

Hello Llin,

Counting down to the new show, why not construct a time line of SJ on  Dr who leading to the present, inserting major events, so as to give a sense of context.

eg.

May '73 SJS appears incognito at a top secret research centre and meets The Doctor.

'73/74 travelling in time and space with the Doctor

 late '74, Doctor regenerates

Summer '76, SJ dropped off in Aberdeen   (may have to telephone UNIT HQ to get them to pick her up as she's stranded and broke- reverse the charges?).
