Thanks for answer and I will give you more details :
By connection (or by the try) I always get an error message :
"Lost connection to MySQL server at 'waiting for initial communication packet,', system error :2".
I use the linux server (Fedora 10) with MySQL Sever 5.1.34 (will be upgraded to 5.1.35).
As a client is used OpenOffice 3.1 on Windows XP Profesional and Linux (Fedora 10).
Old version was removed. Only the new version is installed.
MySQL can be connected via IP with other programs (MySQL Quary Browser, OpenOffice 2.4 with Alpha1 connection....).
Java runtime is istalled and set up.
