Hi GNOME hackers,

The desktop team at Sun would like to invite you all to a
Sun-patch day.  The goal of the patch day is to go through
all Sun's GNOME (JDS) patches and:
 - push the less controversial ones upstream
 - a great opportunity to vent your frustration about
all the crack that may have slipped in
 - start a discussion about the more controversial patches

Where:
        irc://irc.gnome.org#sun-patches

When:
        Wednesday, July 11th.

This patch day conveniently occurs just before GUADEC, so
that any disagreements can be washed away with beers (or
whatever else you like to drink ;)

You can find the latest Sun patches here:
http://src.opensolaris.org/source/xref/jds/spec-files/trunk/patches/

Thanks,
Laca

Good point.

The idea is that Sun desktop engineers will be on-line all
day -- each in their own time zone, which means you are
welcome to join any time from Wed morning Beijing time to
Wed evening Irish time.  So it's something like:

From:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=7&day=11&year=2007&hour=10&min=0&sec=0&p1=33
To:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=7&day=11&year=2007&hour=18&min=0&sec=0&p1=78

Some of us will probably be around much longer, if there is interest.

Laca
