What's the procedure for looking into suspicious voting patterns?

If you find something wrong, its best to post here or on mb-users
about the issue and let other also take a look...

Welp, on two slightly contentious edits on the new Muse album:

http://musicbrainz.org/show/edit/?editid=11181499
http://musicbrainz.org/show/edit/?editid=11181494

The last two yes votes are WichitaQ and anybodybutme

http://musicbrainz.org/show/user/?userid=465162
http://musicbrainz.org/show/user/?userid=234010

If I'm not misunderstanding, apart from the two Muse votes, all of
anybodybutme's votes are in support of WichitaQ edits.

 From WichitaQ's profile:
"I had a nice share of edits under my friends account."

Seems to explain everything. Maybe he even votes using this friend's
account, but I don't see an intent to abuse voting system. Otherwise, he
would have created two more accounts to vote on his edits.

You could have suspected my first subscriber (though to be precise, he
was subscribed to almost the same artists as me, mostly German rap) to
be another account of me as well – almost 80% of his votes were in
support of me, another 10% reflected my vote and 8% were from when I
wasn't active here.

This doesn't have to tell anything yet, right?
Though it may make sense to keep an eye on them.

I agree that the intent is probably not malicious.

However I interpret the message on WichitaQ's profile as saying "I
previously used another account of my friend's to create edits but have
now started my own new account so am less new than I look". If this
"other account" is "anybodybutme" (it looks likely, edits on that
account stopped being created the same day WichitaQ was opened, and
anybodybutme was used to vote on WichitaQ's edits from day 1. The timing
is too suspicious to be a coincidental follower to me?

Now it looks like it's being used to both vote-on-own-edits and double
vote on other edits. If that's the case, we should probably try and stop
it, right? It's not fair to other voters.
